Community
Whether it’s the street just outside our offices or the London boroughs we’re located in, Samuel Estates is committed to aiding and improving the communities we work in. We do this by supporting individual employees and their families who raise money for charity, and local events that take place within our communities.
Our Charities
We work closely with “Ickle Pickles”, a charitable Partnership that turns gifts from generous people into specialised equipment that helps Neo-natal units provide incredible levels of care for the smallest and sickest babies needing intensive care throughout the UK.
We hold an annual “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. Macmillan Cancer Support are there to make sure no one has to go through it alone. Macmillan Cancer Support are helping to improve the lives of people affected by cancer across the UK.
Our youth
Samuel Estates are proud sponsors of the Balham Blazers U12 teams. Balham Blazers are a youth football club based in South West London with age group teams that play in the Southern Youth League, the Tandridge League and the London County Saturday Youth Football League. The club was formed in 2001 and their home ground is Trinity Fields, Trinity Road, Wandsworth, SW17.
Our environment
Samuel Estates are working in partnership with Merton and Wandsworth Chambers of Commerce to “Go Green”. We cooperate with qualified environmental specialists to help us reduce costs, ensure we comply with legislation around waste and recycling, and ultimately reduce our company’s carbon footprint.
The project, Greening Business, is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the local authorities, plus 4 other partners: Merton Chamber of Commerce Business Solutions; Workspace Group Plc; Groundwork London; and the Black Ethnic Minority Foundation.
